Born and raised in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, Dolan Geiman’s art career started by helping his mother paint dinosaur doorstops for an upcoming art and craft fair. Twenty some odd years later, Dolan still finds himself painting on wood. His affordable panel paintings read like miniature billboards, a testament to both rural and urban vernacular. A country mouse now living in the Windy City, each painting is painted and printed by hand from a studio in Wicker Park.
