Jen Lobo has always had a great affinity for all things feathered,
furry, avian and
aquatic. The relationship and parallels of human and animal society is
a recurrent theme in her work. She adores natural history
and entomology. Jen could pretty much be locked in any museum for days
and not look for a way out.
Jen currently lives in Pasadena, CA, where she watches hummingbirds
and swallowtail butterflies from her studio windows. She lives with
her husband, their two incredibly cute kids, and their insane little
dog, Scraps. She has also recently adopted a one winged barn owl, that
she has yet to name.
